Hiya... I found you from the Denver community (the post about freckled lemonade). From your post about the FBI check, I just realized why I didn't get the job I applied for... the same reason you got a week off without pay. :( Fortunately, I got those taken care of.

what did you have to do? even the clerk that i spoke to on the phone satd that it should have been removed after a year. how did you get it fixed??

I got a notice from the district attorney that filed the check (Golden). They sent me out a notice that I had to complete a class, pay a fine, and it wouldn't go on my record. But now that I think about that, the job shouldn't have been able to find out about it, so I don't know. Have you tried contacting the company/agency who has the check to get it resolved? They probably have a financial department that takes care of that.
