I wish to complain about some of the scenes in last Friday’s episode of ‘EastEnders’. In this episode, which aired on 1/7/11, we saw, on two separate occasions, two characters of the opposite sex clearly naked in bed together in clearly sexual situations. Some people can be so daft about sexuality and its portrayal in the media, they claim to be accepting, but when confronted by a portrayal of two men together, they squirm and reveal that they are not the open-minded people they profess to be. Such an individual would usually be a reader of a paper such as The Daily Fail. I am also disgruntled that two men together is viewed by a minority as 'wrong' when their relationship is merely different and that two women together is frequently used for the titillation of salivating illiterates.
On a lighter note: Have you seen that clip of Russell Howard talking about two men on a plane sharing a kiss? It's hilarious! I think it was on Live at the Apollo.
