Lena's medical school requires that she spend these next few years in Indianapolis, which is 150 miles south of Brightnet. Huge city = more job opportunities and, for me in my new job, I earn 150% of what I earned at Brightnet. However, the work is terribly dull and I have few opportunities to learn a lot more or to advance myself. I was on the BLEEDING edge of technology at Brightnet, but now I am just a help desk person. But it is my personal mission to be the best there is at whatever I set my mind to doing. My predecessor at this job was a sadly unmotivated, uncaring, and lazy person, or so I am told by all my co-workers.
