Jake, you are my hero!! Thank you for finishing the story for us all!
I really liked the simile about how the Giant Warriors can "crush walls as easily as Petog crushed kittens." Likewise, I was glad to see stupid "you-sa"-saying Chucky blasted to the depths - even if it was a little too humanely.
However, "Mass Confusion" does cost 30 casting points normally, and with the Channeller skill it still costs 24 casting points. How did Petog succeed with only 20?
Well, I thought it was 20. Since the totals of Orcs had to be snooted upwards to account for actual fighting, its reasonable to fudge the casting costs too.
Can you identify all the spells used by name?
And, how is being gut-stabbed by a goblin blade and left to die under a very HEAVY Orc Warlord's butt plate (dead humanoid -> automatic pooping, just like with Human beings)? Suffocating in fecal matter, orc blood, and your own blood draining out at an alarming rate? Not to mention the remaining hell hounds will find and eat him down to the crunchies (Halfling tastes WAY better than Orc to anything with a mouth).
