I finally found this thing - it was buried under a pile of Sirius's dirty laundry; quite accidentally, of course. But now I suppose I should actually write something to make up for my lapse.

So how was everybody's holidays? I love Christmas at Hogwarts - it's so quiet with everybody gone. You can actually hear yourself think.

Laughter is a prized possession nowadays. We must consider ourselves rich men if we are able to dole it out so well, even if at the expense of a few, inconsequential, obnoxiously-greasy (or just obnoxious in general) folk we shall not name now. But it is our duty! Call it philanthropy.

AND FIRST. We must pay Snivellus a visit. I will not rest until he is bawling like a baby (and maybe Transfigured into one too).

It's too peaceful here for me. I'm glad to get some studing done for Potions though. I'm not doing too well. I only got an A on my last essay.

I miss all the people. I'm glad you guys stuck around though. It's not quite as lonely.

Now why pick up for myself when the lovely house-elves will do it for me? Waste of my precious time and energy, I reckon...
