With the itching. And the burning. And the not being able to sleep.

I'm having a down day.

I don't know if I can talk about it.

I'm in a peculiar place. Confronting my usual duality.

I'm actively making some changes in my life.

The first substantial change: graduate school. That's right. I'm attending the University of Michigan-Flint again. But, instead of immersing myself entirely in English courses, I've opted for a Master of Liberal Studies in Theatre and Community. I'm so extremely frustrated with being exhausted all the time.

Things have changed. Are changing. In general, I believe this to be a very good development. Despite the occasional bout with daily frustrations, I'm happy with the direction in which my life is going. But, there are those frustrations...

Things are good. So good, in fact, that I'm not feeling it necessary to elaborate much. Suffice it to say that I am satisfied with the direction my life is headed at this particular moment in time - work is comfortable albeit presumably temporary, love is even more amazing than ever, and my creative side is buzzing. I have all I need.

I'm thankful for work. Not only do I need the paycheck, but it's also nice to be able to interact with different people every day. I just wish I had the strength to face my fear.

I don't hate this job. Not only is my employer is friendly and understanding, but my coworkers don't make me feel like I'm hopelessly stupid or inept. The only negative in this situation: temporary.
