Presumably, after today, we will be one step closer to "settled" in Oakland, California.

I'm taking a trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles today to follow-up with registering our vehicle for Californian license plates. This might not seem like much to most people, but it has taken two months to get to this place. An auto accident in ( Read more... )

Well, I was initially informed that I wouldn't be able to keep my Michigan license plate. After I explained that I inherited the plate from my deceased mother, I was given a form that would give me the opportunity to explain the situation (and, ultimately, would let me keep the plate for sentimental reasons).

And the trip to the DMV only took 20 minutes.

Something is going right with the world today.
