Position problems?

Hi. This is my 3rd cycle using a cup. I currently have a Keeper Mooncup that is really too long for me, because my cervix sits LOW during my cycles. I'm waiting for my medium meluna to arrive as it's a shorter cup, but until then I'm stuck with this thing. One of the issues that I'm having with it is that in addition to sitting near the vaginal ( Read more... )

I remember hearing someone complain about this after they'd cut off the stem. Did you remove the Mooncup's stem?

Well yeah I kinda had to, or it would poke out of me for about a half inch to an inch, and chafed things down below badly.

I guess having a stem is important for the Keeper Mooncup to stay in one position. I don't know if anything can be done about that, so it's good you're getting a new cup. In the meantime you might have to use pads and tampons, or you could look for the disposable Instead cups.

I hadn't heard that about the mooncup, so I'm glad to know. Not that it would have made much of a difference though as I couldn't wear it *with* the stem either. I really hope the meluna works for me, as I LOVE the idea of a cup. I've used sea pearls sponges, and cloth pads so this was a natural progression for me.

Does anyone know if Insteads contain latex? I've been hesitant to try them as I'm terribly allergic.

Completely sideways? Wow. I could see it shifting a little cos it's too long for you but sideways? Wow. =8oO

I think Insteads are TPE, just like your MeLuna will be.

Yes, completely sideways. Talk about painful!
