I'm tickled by the idea of Ichigo trying to apply concepts he learned in school to this new "reality" of living swords and talking cats he's stumbled into. And then, in typical shounen hero-fashion, he throws caution to the winds and charges ahead with his sword anyway. It's classic Ichigo!

Heh yes, and luckily (for him as well as the people who depend on him), like a typical shounen hero, he has got more brawn than brains. If the world were to depend on Ichigo's brains for survival, I'd say it's in deep trouble... :P

This was so cute. Very Ichigo to try and puzzle it out and then just basically say screw it and run in with sword blazing. :D

Yeah well, you can't blame him for deciding to screw it... How on earth are you supposed to apply logic to a world that is far from logical?
