July Update
Another long lapse, sorry about that. So, what's happened since November? Well, the virus of course. Hubby & I were fortunate to be able to work from home. He is still full-time at home, and will be for the foreseeable future. As of June, my co-worker & I are alternating days at the office, and working from home on the other days. Next Book
I think this is #8 but I'm enjoying posting these so I'll keep going. It's fun to look at these old friends again. This one isn't too old - a few years - and it's a departure from the others in that it's considered Young Adult. It would make a fun movie if the film stayed true to the book.

This trilogy is amazing. It is way outside my normal taste in sci-fi but it is so well written and compelling that I don't care. I worked my way through it when it was first published as 3 individual books- it's not a simple read. Another book that had an impact on me. In a twist from how things usually work (book first, then media), I first watched Kaffe Fasset's TV series and got so much out of it that I bought the book.

I know we're not supposed to give any explanation about book covers we post, however I consider that more of a guideline than a rule. I won't go into great details, but I will say a little something about each book. As for this book, it honestly did change my life.
