saddest story ever... well maybe not but sad enough

So, over the weekend we saw a mouse in the house.  we bought those "don't kill the mice" traps so you can set them free once you catch it.  we caught the little guy last night (has to be a baby, he was so tiny) and this morning let him out at the end of the drive way before cory took me to work.  When he got home, about half hour later, the mouse ( Read more... )

I would say either take a hammer to him...Cook him in the microwave or get him a cage and start feeding him.

He should be safe enough for you. He's probably a house mouse (not a street one) so probably been eating things you've dropped so he's not likely to have eating anything with rabies.

That's why you should get the killing traps. Most older mice are too sharp for the live ones and the little ones will break your heart with cuteness when you catch them.

The kill trap probably would have been more humane in this case...

OMG this is the saddest story ever! I'm upset about the mouse now! I could never be a vet either. Poor little thing! *HUGS*

i know. i feel so bad. i checked where he was when i got home (luckily cory put him in the trash can) and there are all these tiny feet prints running all over the place. Cory tried so hard to save him. he feels so bad too.
