I know this is really bad of me but you have no idea how pleased I am that I make someone jealous. LOL

I havent had a chance to start a new series in a long while. The Mortal Instruments sounds like something I would enjoy....though the whole brother-sister thing might creep me out. Is it a huge part of the book? Or is it subtle and kinda hard to not ship? Where do you buy your book on cds? Amazon? Sorry for all the questions but the realization that summer is only two months away has me writing a reading list.

The series is definitely very enjoyable. (The criticisms in my 'review' really don't impact all that much on the greatness of the books ( ... )

LOL - I used to do the exact same thing - i volunteered at the library and as soon as a new audio book was released I would check it out and rip it to my comp.

I am interested in reading the series so if you could give me the links for the second book that would be great!

I am a little skeptical though, because I don't suffer weak heroines very well. Especially when the book is written by a female. *raises eyebrow* there is no excuse and that is why Stephenie Myers will always be on my hate list.....yes I have an author hate list. It hasnt been updated since 2007 but I still have it. :p

Another question - were they raised together? Wait....dont answer that question if it will ruin first book. I am planning on buying it when I go home for spring break. :)

I have not heard of The Amulet of Samarkend but I am willing to add it to the list if you reccomend it!
