On Thursday, June 16th, @ 2:00 pm, there will be an autistic pride parade in downtown Seattle. It will meet at 2nd Ave Ext. and South Jackson Street (In front of Zeitgeist Coffee) and marching to Westlake Center.

There will be a conference on autism and Asperger's Syndrome in Portland October 9-10, featuring some big names in the field. It's intended for teachers, clinicians, parents, and anybody else with an interest in the autism spectrum. People with autism-spectrum conditions have a reduced rate for attendance, which I think is a nice touch.
