Jeannie wasn't too sure about this "date" that had been set up for her. She didn't love anyone but her master, but he had insisted that they see other people. It was all ridiculous, she would just go right back to her master at the end of this.

But for now, she was walking into the large building where her date was to meet her.

He was going to kill Clint. Blind date? Seriously? That asshole was going to be paying for this for the rest of his natural life. Or until Tony's vindictiveness ran out and/or he got distracted by something shiny. One of the two.

But- whatever. At least he'd got to pick the restaurant. Which he was currently hanging around the lobby of with nonchalant air, eyeing everyone who entered speculatively. He might forgive Clint if his date is at least passably attractive. Maybe.

She had almost come in just her pink belly dancer outfit she always wears. But her master had said she needed to wear something "less conspicuous" whatever that meant.

So she had chosen a nice black dress she saw in a store window.

Jeannie walks into the restaurant, looking around as if she's lost someone, a photo of Tony in her hands. Her smile lights up as she sees him and quickly comes over. "Hello, I am Jeannie," she says brightly.

4-7 idk it was either this or having Darcy bite the big one. taser_warrior June 11 2012, 17:26:45 UTC
[ It had to happen eventually, they were too similar for it not too, and after numerous shouting matches, anger, and being able to barely stand looking at him the rough patches had seemed too much to bear.
So she'd left. But she couldn't stay away, as much as she wanted too-and not just because she was afraid Thor may kill Tony-she missed him.
Shuffling her feet Darcy walks into the lobby of Stark Tower and towards the elevator, praying Tony hadn't put in some sort of security system that kept her away.]

No, don't die Darcy. That'd suck. nottheworsthing June 11 2012, 22:37:58 UTC
[In certain ways Tony's kinda predictable. And one of those ways is that when in a bad mood, he will invariably hole up in the workshop or some other location where he's allowed to blow things up with impunity. Admittedly that's not precisely what he's doing right now - though the R8 currently in pieces all over every flat surface might have preferred it - but the principle is the same. As long as he doesn't have to interact with people.

The security system hasn't been touched. It might have been if he'd been under the impression she was coming back, but he really wasn't; this is also the reason why JARVIS will quite happily let her into the workshop. Or maybe it's just to screw with Tony. It's hard to tell with JARVIS sometimes]

Apparently RNG just sort of hates her. She'd die so very dramatically though. taser_warrior June 11 2012, 22:45:40 UTC
[ She sighs silently to herself as she walks into the workshop, stepping over some random scrap metal and what have you as she pinpoints exactly where Tony is in all the chaos. With her fingers wrapped in a death grip around the straps of her purse (which she'd bought just before returning, since she highly doubted Jane's joke gift of an Iron man shoulder bag would have been necessary), she clears her throat.]
Tony?

RNG's a bitch. True story. nottheworsthing June 11 2012, 22:49:58 UTC
[His grip slips on the screwdriver at the unexpected voice from behind him, causing some inventively incoherent swearing as he jams his bleeding digit in his mouth. Blood and engine oil...tasty. He stares at her for a while before hazarding a muffled reply] ...hi?

[ Darcy almost drops her bag and goes to check on him, but stops last minute. She's just not sure how this will all go down really.] Hi. You miss me? [ She smiles awkwardly, she knows how bad they left things off and briefly recalls calling him a giant man baby and telling him he needed to find Dorothy and grow a pair.]

[He's just going to continue staring for a little bit, mostly because- well, yes frankly. He missed her a stupid and embarrassing amount. But he can't just admit that, now can he? Especially not after the last time they spoke. Okay, so calling her the biggest mistake he ever made was harsh and untrue. That was really a pretty spectacular fight]

You were gone? [It's an automatic response, and he winces as soon as the words leave his mouth] Right, yeah, we were going to try not being an asshole this time.

[ She should have expected that really, but his knee jerk reaction for sarcasm hurts and she shuffles awkwardly, eyes downcast for a moment so she misses his expression.] Yeah niceties aren't apparently our strong suit.

Yeah [Oh yeah, this was going well. There's a pause before he adds, looking profoundly uncomfortable] I did. Uh. Miss you, I mean [Maybe it started out as an accident, but once they got used to each other it was kinda nice having her around. It was comfortable, damnit - why did things have to go and get complicated?]

I missed you too. [ God damn it why is this so awkward. She'd spent over an hour psyching herself up to come home and talk to him.
Sighing she loosens her death grip on her purse and puts it on one of his desks, not really caring where it lands, and takes his hand, making a face at the blood on his finger.]
Did Pepper re-stock the first aide kit? [ Her voice is soft and laced with a familiar hint of fondness even as she tries to stay subjective.]

Pretty sure it's still stocked up [He gives a humorless little smirk] It's been at least a couple of days since the last time I bled all over the workshop.

[ She wanders over to the small box in the corner, grabbing some band aid's and basics, as well as a washcloth to try and remove some of the grease from his fingers. Walking back to him she gently takes the limb, and stares at it as if it's the most interesting thing in the room. Honestly she just hasn't quite mustered the balls too look into his eyes yet.]
Tony. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I brought up your dad and told you to grow a pair, and questioned if you have a heart or not. Because you do. Your not some heartless jackass, and me calling you the Tin Man just...[ She was rambling and she knew it as she dabbed and wrapped his hand in a band aid or too since it wasn't too deep, but she couldn't stop.]

[He's waving his free hand dismissively even as he winces at the sting of antiseptic] It's fine. The Tin Man thing was...weirdly appropriate, actually.
