But Aeronwy? Isn't certain she's coming out of the back of the church. Not when she can hide here, tense and uncertain, on the edge of terrified, staring at herself in the mirror.
She's not showing yet. Not really. Maybe just a little if a person's really looking for it.]
[There's a tapping at the door, and Santeri's voice coming through.] Aeronwy, Malin assures me that I shouldn't be seeing you until you walk up that aisle, but given that we're about to start and you're not ready, I thought that ought to be ignored. May I come in?
[It takes a moment to properly register, sift through the confusion and nerves, before she moves to unlatch the door. She doesn't actually open it fully, but the light click, the slight movement, is more than she's allowed others.
1. 4. Hell. Utterly hideous. I am a terrible person.therivervioletJanuary 30 2012, 06:56:31 UTC
[Tafwys loves Darren. Of course she loves Darren. She'd tell anyone that she loves Darren. And she's lucky to be loved by Darren. Adored, even. Put up on a pedestal. Lucky.
[Just once. Their little secret. Because it's easy to covet and easier still to keep silent, but it's hard to keep a friend.
And if Tafwys moves in just the right way, Leigh can pretend that this is another woman with pale skin and blonde hair, that this isn't someone dear to her best friend.]
[She's trying not to think at all, because she can't mistake Leigh for anyone else, the one she should be with. But she can lose herself in Leigh's lips and hands and if she keeps her eyes closed, she can pretend she's someone else.]
2/1. H/V seems appropriate again.loworhighestJanuary 30 2012, 08:34:48 UTC
[God, this hangover isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe that's good. They've been working too hard lately, been hurting over too many things. It was good they'd run off to Nevada for the weekend. Even Annie and Wayne seemed to be relaxing for a change.
Funny how a hangover can make a person feel like they've got a ring on their finger that wasn't there the last time things weren't all... blacked out.]
I don't even.oneirophiliacJanuary 30 2012, 13:47:41 UTC
[On the upside, they're fully clothed and she doesn't have any skin contact with him. On the downside, they're still in the same bed and Annie's never been the one to wake first unless she's alone.]
[Even through the flopping and flailing of a man who usually wakes up from hangovers violently? He's cranky, scowling and huffing and battling against the hurt pounding his skull. His hands hitting another body in the bed move instinctively to cuddle--because who would it be if it isn't Isobel or Eileen? They're both good for hiding against in the throes of a hangover.
Only... this hair he's pressing his face into is wrong. Maybe he needs to force his eyes open.
