6! SEMI-CANON-ISH HERE shadowofadragonJuly 13 2011, 13:12:48 UTC
[One struggle is over for good now... The Dark has won.]
[Kain looks for targets to stab, and eventually notices a certain pink-haired mage. She's not Cecil, alas, but she'll do. INCOMING DRAGOON ATTACK NOW!]
IN WHICH NOBODY IS SURPRISED.twincastingJuly 13 2011, 16:30:36 UTC
[Her duties take her to the mountain every so often. Kain isn't the only one to have come here seeking something after tales of Baron's king finding great power here spread. Sadly, he is the only one to have lasted as long as he has. Praying for the souls of those whom the mountain punished with its hordes of undead for coming here for the wrong reasons is just another of the Elder's duties that, in his failing health, he's passed on to Porom. Generally, she pretends not to notice the Dragoon. When she's feeling particularly patient she'll leave food and potions for him for Cecil's sake. Even if she's almost certain he'll be too proud to accept the charity of others. But she doesn't speak to him and he's certainly never made any effort to acknowledge her presence.
She's knelt by the monument at the mountain's peak, lighting incense there when he attacks. She senses the approaching darkness and it's only turning to look to see what it is that moves her just out of the way of the spear.]

[Well this was about the only thing she didn't want to do. Not that she had a choice though, she'd do anything, anything to make this stop...she was still deluded it wasn't too late, maybe.]
Oi.
[The only thing to do is face him now, if she could even force herself to look him in the eye]
[ No. Really. She honestly didn't mean to. However, she's not in full control of her body at the moment, so for now, she's keeping a distance from Roy so that she won't injure him anymore. ]

[The battle is over. Both armies, obliterated. The once-verdant battleground is a sea of blood and bone.
And in the middle of it all, this pathetic little cow, just waiting to be finished like the rest.
Revya hovers down in front of her former "friend", looking at her with an expression that seems to equate Danette with something she'd scrape off her shoe.]
[Just. Ignoring the fact that she should probably be a crimson tear at this point.
She'd intended for them to be alone at the end all along, sealed together in the sword. But this- well, it hadn't quite gone expected. She almost charges, but the last thing she'd want to do is to risk trampling the body of the Layna who devoured the Layna who raised them and she's not quite sure where the various pieces of her fell. She stands, having been knelt by the corpse of that great redflank who'd taken a good quarter of the devourlord's army with him.]
I wasn't going to leave you alone. Because you can- you can still stop this! Even now!
[...well, okay. Maybe it's a bit late for stopping anything.]

You'll be glad to know that my battle is done. The trial has ended.
[A cruel, evil smirk.]

[The battle severely worn him out. He's using his nunchaku's staff form to try and keep him standing.]
