the tension between Iker and Nando and all the secrets spilling out, my god, how do you do it? it's amazing, nothing's closer to perfection of writing hard emotions.

i absolutely adore your scenes with Nando and Iker. they're both so desperate and at odds with one another, and yet, needing each other. it's gorgeous.

i can feel that if he had to choose, Iker would choose Sergio. but i can't say the same bout Nando, because the deeply rooted link/bond/passion he has with/for Davey is absolutely unbreakable. bond of blood that makes it all vicious yet completely compelling.

[not condoning incest here, i'm sure you're not. but one can understand the attraction between two people that know each other best, the deep, intimate connection they have]

and the ending, a more loosened up Cesc - going home! and Sergio, the vagabond. but as we know, he doesn't run just like that, there is the urge to run from something, :|

I was hoping beyond hope that this story wasn't abandoned.

I clicked and, without even looking back chapters, I remembered where it left off and reading this the familiar ache came back again of my empathy for these damaged beautiful characters.

I clicked and thought - "I hope they got to New Orleans because I'd love to see how she'd do New Orleans" - because your sense of presence and location is so refined, at least in my humble opinion, although I've traveled to almost all of the places you've mentioned in your journey.

I clicked and was not disappointed in anything, except it ended too soon.

I'm so glad you're continuing with this. You may see me pop up in your archives whenever I get a chance, because I enjoy your writing and recommend the work to people looking for a good read. Thank you for posting!

I realized, later on, that I didn't actually say anything about this chapter. My heart really went out to both Iker and Fernando in this chapter. On one hand, I think their pairing is more apt than any other combination, even though, paradoxically, their pairing comes from the difficulty and failures of other pairings. The desperate wish for all four of them to be able to be together and love each other was desperate and heartbreaking possibly because I think (kind of know) that that will never work out and the characters probably do as well somewhere, but it's one of those hopes you just cling to because you're unhappy. I love reading this fic although it hurts (that means it's working...), and through all that you write an amazing, charged sex scene. Thanks again for continuing.
