I have thoughts on this too that haven't exactly coagulated. I know it may come across as a bit ego-centric but it made total sense to me that Obama was elected. It just fit exactly into the way my own life was shifting to the point that it would have almost been bizarre if he *wasn't* elected. The thing is, I don't think it's just me, and I think that's the point. We're ALL ready for it. I totally agree that it's big, and we haven't even realized how big it is yet.

Even if he isn't the miracle worker messiah that so many hope/expect him to be, he represents something momentous.
