I'm extending my West Wing reaction picspams outward to the rest of the Sorkin!verse as I make my way through it for the first time. This time I completed Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
Danny/Jordan though? I loathed. The whole thing made Danny seem like a smug, arrogant stalker and Jordan like this stupid, weak-willed, stupid supposedly high powered woman. Every decision this couple made seemed to have either been hastily made, stupidly made, or made with a huge sense of creepiness and I just could not get behind it all, I don't care how cute it is.
THIS SO MUCH. I have such a problem on so many levels with this ship. Jack/Jordan would have been far better, imo, mainly because of Stephen Weber.
When I was watching the first few episodes of the show I thought that they were going to go Jack/Jordan and I was totally behind it. That would've been much more fun because that relationship innately has drama with it, instead of the manufactured "I'm a stalker!!" kind.
Yeah ergh this was...not a very good show, I'm impressed you got through so much of it. But I would like to second your Steven Weber love! I have a lot of affection for him from his Wings days.
The end of the season is just fanfiction I swear. Everyone gets together and Danny adopts Jordan's baby (and she says she always wanted him) and I cry from boredom and from being creeped is basically what happens.
I'll be sure check out Reefer Madness though for the Steven Weber goodness! Totally the best part of Studio 60.

And thank you! I'm curious if it gets more annoying/less annoying on rewatch.

But Steven Weber really made it so much better to get through. So good job, Steven Weber!
