I don't know about "Totally be friends" but often people are attracted to different versions of the same person over and over again. So you're likely to have something in common with the ex's. This girl and I had nothing in common, bringing completely different sets of assets to the table. His current girlfriend, I'm told I would indeed like if I knew her.

The "right" guy is hard to find. But I've only dated the one totally wrong one. Most of them are perfectly nice guys who don't work out for whatever reason. As long as I can keep it right down the middle, I can coast for a while.

My dad's wife was really nice to my mom when we went to grandfather's funeral. Of course, there's no proof that she knew that I was Dad's kid from his affair with Mom.

I still hate my ex-girlfriend's ex's. One was trying to break us up the second I started dating her. The other one was just creepy. I like her husband though.

It's easier to be nice if you end up with the person or if a lot of time passes.

Ex's can be a hassle or not. I've only experienced that problem the one time.
