Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!

The Olympics are officially taking over my life. Screw them for placing the swimming finals in the morning, though. They're always on when I'm about to leave for Uni and I've skipped it about twice to catch these finals. China is going nuts with the Gold Medals, and Australia is in fifth place. If only Eamon Sullivan had gotten that gold in the ( Read more... )

Canada still hasn't won a medal yet. It's so sad. I'm just waiting for the winter Olympics now in Vancouver 2010 and we'll OWN everyone.

Basically, time difference = .< But gymnastics is after 10 pm, which means I can't watch, unless I go sit on the exercise equipment in the basement, because my sister has to go to bed...pft.

Hahah. xD
It's actually awesome for us cause we're only 2 hours ahead of Beijing. It feels like I've been watching too much Gymnastics. It's always on TV. O_O

LOL Stephanie Rice is awesome. 3 gold medals.
Y'know, 5 out of the 5 gold medals we have so far are all from swimming. It's just a LITTLE embarrassing in a way. But track and field events have started and I suspect medals will be hoarded in by the US.

She's crazy fast -- so is Trickett ! Or however you spell her name :(
& Ah, that's all good. My dad was saying somebody was talking to him about how Australia has the most number of medals per cubic feet, while China has the least.
And I laughed really hard, but thought of you because you're like the only Australian I know !

Besides. Most of South Korea's medals have been coming from archery. Like, what the hell T__T How random !
THAT, and swimming is one of the most fun events anyway :)

Aahahahaha, track and field .__.; Who knows, who knows ! I didn't really watch the previous Olympic games so :x I wouldn't know ? T_T I regret not watching but sdklnvalkjehewor.

Wow, this is such a random reply.

Everytime I see Australia, though, I think of you. And swimming. :)

LOVE THAT ICONNNN!

Haha aww.
But you know, I feel kind of crap cause in my short lifetime the Olympics have been in my two home cities - Sydney and Beijing.
And when it was in Sydney I was what, 11? And I didn't care a single bit for it. AND I FEEL SO DDDD: If only! I could've, I could've.... T^T Gah.
And now it's in Beijing and I can't go. But that's not TOO bad cause Beijing is just too crowded. There's no point trying to get a ticket to anything. xD

I only cared for the Olympics starting Athens. But really, it's so great. And excitinggg.

HOPING FOR A WIN FROM EAMON SULLIVAN IN THE 50m freestyleeee!!
But still, the US + swimming = awesomeness too.
