Y'know, 5 out of the 5 gold medals we have so far are all from swimming. It's just a LITTLE embarrassing in a way. But track and field events have started and I suspect medals will be hoarded in by the US.

& Ah, that's all good. My dad was saying somebody was talking to him about how Australia has the most number of medals per cubic feet, while China has the least.
And I laughed really hard, but thought of you because you're like the only Australian I know !
Besides. Most of South Korea's medals have been coming from archery. Like, what the hell T__T How random !

But you know, I feel kind of crap cause in my short lifetime the Olympics have been in my two home cities - Sydney and Beijing.
And when it was in Sydney I was what, 11? And I didn't care a single bit for it. AND I FEEL SO DDDD: If only! I could've, I could've.... T^T Gah.
And now it's in Beijing and I can't go. But that's not TOO bad cause Beijing is just too crowded. There's no point trying to get a ticket to anything. xD
I only cared for the Olympics starting Athens. But really, it's so great. And excitinggg.

& I KNOW, RIGHT ? When it was during Athens I was twelve years old. I didn't care ! T_T Which makes me sad. Like, I started caring about things starting high school. World Cup, Olympics.

Ah, I know, isn't it frustrating? T_T;; And I actually went to one of the events and I was bored out of my mind. I was kind of just sitting there looks at the dead moths around in the stadium cause there were so many. O_O;;
I thought Sullivan would've gotten the gold for the 100m cause he broke the WR twice during the heats/semis but noooo. D: And you could tell he was so disappointed.
And I didn't even know any of the Aus women swimmers except for Leisel Jones cause she's awesome. Now I know a bunch and I never knew we were so good? LOL. butphelpsbeatsall.
but you know what? i just miss ian thorpe so much. i loved him sososososo much.

Cause LOL it was the marathon final. And yeah so the athletes weren't even in the stadium a good chunk of it LOL. I think Japan won that event. xD
AND GOOOOOOSH SULLIVAN JUST MISSED OUT ON ANOTHER GOLD IN THE 50M FREE. HE DIDN'T EVEN GET A MEDAL. RAWR. D: He's def. not swimming his best, but I'm so proud.

& Omg I would have totally diedddd for that. Especially if the athletes weren't even there for most of the time.
