Why is it, that even now, I find fairy tales so enchanting?

Fables is ones of my favourite comics, I have almost all of the Terri Windling, Ellen Datlow adult fairy tale collections, and even most of my smut is fairy tale smut (tee hee!).

When I'm with the boyfriend, I'm happy, but I miss my mom.

When I'm with my mom, I'm happy, but I miss the boyfriend.

When I'm with them both, I'm happy, but I feel bad, because I'm always giving more attention to one or the other.

Why am I always so lonely? Isn't there any way to stop it?

I'm always amazed by how much it affects me when I forget to take my crazy pills. I think those are always, categorically, my worst days.

And then when I do take them, it seems to affect me almost immediately.

Which makes me wonder if it's just psychological.

And then I realize that, um, duh it's psychological. That's the point.

So today was Elephant Day at work. I'm not sure entirely what that means, except that it gave us a good excuse to have an event and make total dorks of ourselves.

Some days, I just get really tired, and I have to try really hard to remember all the good things about life.
