Even Clinton says the government failed

I love him. For all those politicians out there talking your way around saying "failure", take advice from him. Just get it out there. Let it be known. For god sakes, grow some BALLS and speak out. Don't just write it on your forehead.

BWAHAHAHAHA

I love him.

Supposedly, and I found this out by googling for St. Bernard nursing home, he's under investigation for corruption or up on corruption charges or something like that. But you still have to admire the guy. It's kind of amazing to see a politician that outspoken. Shouldn't be, but is.

Haha I know!

Well it's kind of like the Mayor. You have to admit there was a bit of a lack of planning on his part, but you have to give it up to the guy after screaming at the press until Bush finally cracked.

And seriously, when is the other side of the fence going to step up and take some action against these guys? You know, had they stepped up and not pussyfooted around last year, we would have Kerry in office right now. And I can't say for certain, because we will never know, but I would be willing to bet that this sort of a disaster wouldn't be happening.

I'm not sure how much of it was lack of planning on his part and how much was just doing what he could with what he had. Bush declared the region a disaster area just before landfall, y'know. They still didn't get any help with evac. On top of that, to add insult to injury, the airlines refused to take anybody out, Greyhound refused to take anybody out, Amtrak refused to take anybody out. WTF ( ... )

Oh, I didn't know about the airlines and buses refusing to take people out. WTF? Although, I have to admit that I sort of figured there had to have been a totally lack of resources, or why else would they have just sent them to a holding place they knew was unfit to hold that many people for very long ( ... )

I know! I had to come back and fix the post!

LOL I kid.

And I also whole-heartedly agree. I'm telling you, Bush is getting just as tired of this job as we are tired of him. I mean think about it, TWO elections, TWO terms and EVERY term, he goes on vacation in August, and disaster strikes! What does a man have to do to get some rest up in there!

O.o

=P

I know we've been talking non-stop about this in Y!M, but it still pisses me off. Don't even know why he put his hat in for President in the first place, he's never on the fucking job, always running around on his damn ranch. Guess daddy forgot to mention that whole "work" thing.

Well Daddy probably made it seem like it was all paid vacation allll the time. And let's face it, Daddy didn't have to go through 9/11. Daddy had Andrew, but didn't have NOLA. Daddy, only had ONE term in office. You've got to give it to him for one-uping his father. But seriously, that's it. I don't exactly remember Bush I in office, but I remember not liking him. But I don't remember ever HATING him this much.
