My funeral playlist?

In an interview lately, Bill talked about the playlist he'd choose for his funeral. He seemed to have put a lot of thought in it, and it made me think about mine too. I realized it's not only about the songs, but about the legacies and message you want to leave behind. The songs below instantly came to mind. There's only five. None of these songs ( Read more... )

Hope this isn't too creepy for me to say, but I've enjoyed listening to your funeral playlist tonight. (That sounds really creepy no matter how I say it.)

I'd never heard the first song before, and it was so beautiful and cheerful that I never would have guessed the lyrics until I read your translation. It's very sweet, and I like it. The other songs are really moving in different ways, especially the last which brings back so many wonderful childhood memories.

Thank you for sharing this, and may it never be used for many, many decades to come.

That part of the TH interview was really interesting because Bill seemed almost excited to talk about the fact that he had songs already planned for his funeral. His body language was so open like he'd given this a lot of thought and wanted to share it. It seemed pretty honest compared to some of the things they tell interviewers. It was a great interview all around!

Naw, it's not creepy! I get what you mean. I was surprised by how many soft and gentle songs I picked out, save that "I am the best" one. I don't even listen to much classical music like Beethoven anymore, yet I put it here.

All of LOVG's songs have the loveliest lyrics. Thank you for listening! All these songs mean something to me. I hope I don't use it soon too.

I really liked that interview! They were more laid-back and honest than I've seen them in a while. Bill was cracking jokes, it was great! And Tom was really loving on Georg; they're such good friends and they were together again after months. During the press conference, Tom even made kissy faces at Georg and fed him a grape. <3 Ahh, bromance.
