Is there anyone else reading this that thinks that if people want to try to smell like something they don't actually smell like, they should want to smell like food ( Read more... )

Bath and Bodyworks at least used to sell peppermint stuff at christmas. I don't use their stuff anymore though since one of their bubble baths gave me the uti from hell.

If I were going to smell like a fresh food: Cilantro. It smells so pretty.

How would you describe cilantro? I'm kind of new to herbs, especially fresh, and have never used it. Basil and Rosemary are my back ups.

I don't trust bath products from any of those places. The last time I bathed in something like that, I broke out in hives.
I used to occasionally give into Body Shop products. They had this great grapeseed, 'body butter,' and at one point, black cherry lip balm. It smelled really good.

I like food smells. They always have a good connotation in my brain. I think the body shop has oils that work decently well. Not sure if that's where you went before. Bath and Body works has a unisex mint body scrub. I don't think there is anything wrong with smelling minty fresh all over.

What scents are your favourites?
I haven't been to The Body Shop in years, but that is the one place I used to like to shop. I prefer their scents to any other place. I don't remember liking their oils, but I should have a look again since it's been so long.
Thanks for the tip about the mint body scrub. I'll have to check it out.

Do you mean like.. people should smell like bacon?
Cause I think everything should smell like bacon so I'm totally behind you on this. But.. it feels like it's crossing a weird line.
