oh yeah and ditto on the taking canvas bags for grocery shopping, and natural spectrum light bulbs, and farmers' markets. i try to buy organic and fair trade as much as our budget allows. i try to give business to our local co-op and natural foods stores. we purchase some things from regular supermarkets or trader joe's though. tucson is pretty good for living green. it was pretty difficult for me to do as much in chicago.
