“Noah, will you please set the table?”
Puck looked up from his textbook. “Sure babe.”
Puck took the plates and silverware from Kurt and went to set the table. He placed Mr. Hummel’s plate at the head of the table with Kurt’s to the right and himself to the left. He paused before putting his plate down. There was a post-it on the plate.
Good to know you’re up for a challenge.
He smiled as he realized what the note meant. Kurt wanted to play the game with his father sitting at the table with them. Well, if that was what Kurt wanted, Puck didn’t mind playing along.

Kurt turned the stove off before turning towards the living room and calling his father. “Dad, dinner’s ready.”
Kurt heard the television turn off before seeing his dad enter the kitchen. “Smells good son.”
Kurt smiled at his dad’s compliment. He knew he should be use to it and that such a small compliment shouldn’t really make him this happy but he couldn’t help it, he liked seeing his dad happy.
“Hey Mr. Hummel, what can I get you to drink?” Kurt looked over to Puck who he had sadly, forgotten was there.
“Coke is fine.” Burt turns toward his son. “Need help in any way?”
Kurt looked from the stove to the oven to Puck getting drinks. “No sir, we’re good.”
“Right.” Burt nods and takes his seat at the table.
Kurt starts to put the pasta in a bowl but jumps when he fells Puck lightly grab his butt. Kurt growls but returns to the pasta so his father doesn’t catch on and murder Puck.
Kurt puts the bowl on the table and then goes to get the chicken out of the oven.
“Kurt.” Kurt turns around when his dad says his name. “What’s attached to your jeans?”
Kurt looks down to find a post-it on the back of his jeans.
Bring it on baby.
Kurt glares at Puck. “Don’t worry about it dad.”
Burt nods and takes a sip of his soda. “If you say so.”
