charmander had to be put to sleep today.
he had stomach blockage, and the treatment wasn't going to guarantee his survival.
it was for the best.

so i'm missing yet another day of school cuz my chameleon is sick and i am taking him to the vet at 11:30.
one good thing comes out of this situation, however.
i get to finish my knitting :D

i acknowledge the fact that the brim is a tad bit large. i effed up my gauge in the beginning, and in my defense, i like a large brim.

well folks, we are officially in a recession.
you know what that means! stock up on yarn because it looks like we'll be making our clothes until next summer!
not that i mind, of course ;D

okay so you don't know this, but my Hermione hat is my first experience with cables...i successfully just knit my first cable ever!!
