Some moments deserve a little extra contemplation, you know?

I was surfing stockings over at fandom-stocking, and zeldaophelia's jumped out at me - she mentioned liking minor-character fic, especially canon events seen through a minor character's eyes. Hmm...I thought. 'Hmmm...' said muse Madeleine. We can work with that.

I thought things over, and tried to think of the right moment to explore...but none of the possibilities satisfied Madeleine. The deadline was speeding toward me, so I brought my WCSW emmademarais in for a consultation. She suggested looking at the events of 36 Hours, and (as usual) Madeleine said "Brilliant!"

So, we were off to the races. Many, MANY versions of this fic flew between Emma and me, and finally (almost) on deadline, it was finished. \o/

I offer heartfelt complements to zeldaophelia on her inspiring stocking.

I am endlessly, helplessly thankful to and grateful for emmademarais. My muse likes her better than me, and I'm okay with that. :)

It was always my plan to support davidsinclair. "Arrow of Time" has made me want to write more David, so stay tuned!

Alimi does a great job. It's about time the writers gave him some juicy stuff to work with.

Very nice! I love this line:

Everyone seemed to be looking for miracles and her mere presence signified every miracle that didn't come.

Thank you! I enjoyed that line, too. it's very important work, what Claudia does, but I bet it wears on her in a situation like this.

Oh... my... god.

*flails*

I LOVED this sooooooooo much. It was so beautiful and poignant... I wish Claudia could have been there. For all my David/Liz fantasies - I miss David/Claudia for all the reasons you gave here. They just saw each other as they should be... quietly. There didn't have to be a lot to mean a lot... and you've truly captured that here.

*continues to flail and go all gooey*

/blushes/ Thank you Candi. I'm so happy you liked it! I had always really liked David/Claudia too, but never had any truly inspiring bunnies for them until now. /Hugs/

Arrow of Time made me want to write more David, so we'll see...

*claps and squees! I'd love to see you write more David. Arrow of Time, for all it was a Don episode, it was also a very good David episode. He made me want to have his babies during that scene with Alan. *clutches heart* More people need to show him the love. LOL. *sends Mel's muse cookies for David luff...

The episode also made me want to write more David/Liz... *growls*
