So the big raise I've been hoping for was announced today.  Guess how much I got?

Forty cents.  That's right, forty cents more an hour.

*Sigh*

In other news, I've started my Avon selling and organized my bridal dresses on Ebay.  I may also rent a table at a church bazaar to advertise myself selling stuff for others on Ebay.  And maybe I'll do stupid

Aww, I'm sorry :( 40 cents isn't bad, but I know how it goes when it isn't enough :(

I was hoping for $2.00, so 40 cents is like a slap in the face. I'm going to email my boss later, but not while I'm mad. :(

I wish I had the magic answer to give you about how to mke big money....I don't...I would love to make some big money too!!

I'm hoping that selling these bridal gowns (for a local bridal shop) on Ebay is my ticket to working from home. But that has yet to be seen. Wish me luck - I'm tired of 9-5!

Payrises are good... so congratulations ;) but that does seem a bit below the rate of inflation...

It's right at the rate of inflation - 3.2%. So basically, I make what I made last year. I guess I should be happy that it's better than nothing, but I think after four years here, I'm worth more than that!

But...congrats on all your other ventures! I wish you luck. Just remember, whenever you work for someone else, you HAVE to be under-paid - otherwise...no profit for them! But if you're your own boss...well then!

There is something scary about being your own boss though. Sometimes it's so much more comfortable to do what I'm told and collect a paycheck...
