So someone put a flyer on my door a couple weeks ago basically saying she wanted everyone on our street to have a yard sale on June 30th.  She would do all of the advertising and we could just put stuff out that morning.  What a great idea!  So if everyone does it, there will be TONS of foot traffic on our street.  The family that lives across from

Geez - feeling a little Anti-Mike today? :)

A couple months ago, when I was saving stuff for our future yard sale, he told he how much he hated the idea of having one. Like we would be the eyesore of our street or something. And strangers would be in our yard. And all our junky stuff would be on our lawn. And he would be embarrassed. So I nixed the idea out of respect for his feelings, even though I didn't really agree.

Hey, that's what you do when you're in a relationship, you know!

Oh, yes, I say that all the time too.

Probably a 50/50 split between "I support your silly ideas" and "I don't think so - that's stupid."

It is a great idea, around here we have a few large community yardsale days every year and a few places will do that along the way.. it is always a plus for everyone to come across those houses.. lol.. and they do work well.
