There is a rumour going round that there will be a remake of Final Fantasy 7 announced with CyberConnect2 (remember .Hack?) developing. I sent the NXL off to Nintendo and it's a painless procedure. Go to the website, state the problem, print a label, pack it up, send it and whooosh. Or in my case get them to send a label because I am lazy and it was free. The hard part was finding a box to mail it in ( Read more... )

While I was in bed this morning playing Monster Hunter on my original 3DS (and trying not to sob) a ray of hope shone down on me. The wireless button on my XL was stuck, meaning I had fucked something up, and that I had to open it anyway if I wanted to do the emergency plan ( Read more... )

Today I tried to repair my 3DS XL. To say it didn't go well is an understatement.

Not only did I fail to fix it but after putting it back together it will not turn on. Fucking great. The on light turns on and then pop... off it goes.

I do not know what to do. I do not want to lose my data. Yes, I should have transferred to my other 3DS.

*sigh*

I did not email Nintendo to beg to fix my XL, instead I took to ebay to find the bottom face plate so I could fix it myself. There are not too many who sell genuine shells ripped from other XLs, and even fewer who sell white ones. None of these sellers are in the UK or even Europe ( Read more... )
