ETA 11.50PM: So I posted this soon after Antony Green made his first "A Liberal Government is likely" prediction on the ABC. What do we think now? Hung parliament or will Baillieu win government?

There's a lot to be angry at or disappointed in Brumby and Labor about.

I don't see replacing Labor with a Coalition government improving just about any of those things though. Secrecy over public-private partnerships? Rubber-stamped planning applications? Dodgy deals with police? Inadequate attention to and neglect of climate, education, & public transport infrastructure? Liberals and Nationals make Labor look like the Greens. :/

But hey, if I were on a corporate board of directors or owned a string of residential investment properties, I'd be rubbing my hands and chortling at the thought of a Liberal government.

(FYI I've been in the top income tax bracket for over a decade, wear a suit to work and am a business owner, and have never voted Coalition in my life.)

Still a $20 fine down there is it? I didn't vote in the last Queensland election (due to the fact I lived OVERSEAS) and the fuckers wanted to slam me $50; that was over $100 by the time I got back. I told them to get stuffed. They eventually saw my way of thinking.

At the moment it looks like he's gone HOORAY! He's in my local area and likes to write epic letters to the newpaper about THOSE EVIL WIMMINS and THOSE POOR ABORTED BABIES and THE WRONGS OF DIVORCE.
