Hey! Not only am I upright, I am also in the office. Whoa. That hasn't happened for two weeks. Not only am I in the office, I was in early because I suspected there might be a call with the engineering team in India (there was). I won't say that I'm bursting with energy, but I am happy to be out of the house and wearing something other than PJs or ( Read more... )

I love that picture! I have some gorgeous blue silk that I'm going to make with that dress in mind. I would certainly attend that class if I can - I'm teaching two heraldry classes (one on Italian names) so I hope they don't conflict. Glad you're feeling better!

I'm looking at blue silk for this project, too. We can be twins! :)

Glad that you're feeling better.

Can't wait to see the new outfit. You look very good (and very Venetian) with the froufy curls :-)

Thanks!

I'm setting a deadline of KASF for the ensemble. Hopefully three-ish months is long enough with school and exchequer business in the mix.

I've been wanting to make a pair of pantoufles for a while now. And I know of a couple of other people who have mentioned similar desires as well - maybe we really need to get a workshop going! How fun would that be? The Uni class sounds good - I know a lot less about Venetian history than I do about Florence, so I'd be interested in taking it. :-)

A workshop would be fantastic! I love being able to bounce ideas off other people (and having them bounced off of me). Definitely something to think about after the holidays.

I think a little history class would be a good transition into formally teaching something that isn't exchequer-based. ;) I'm getting jazzed about the idea.

If there's a workshop, count me in! I am dying to make a pair of those!
