Christmas Present Pictures, Long Distance Friends, and Tom Foolery

HOLY CRAP!!! So, um, are you serious? I'll do it if you're serious but wowzer... glad you told me now. It's going to take til Christmas!! But I don't think I can afford all of the yarn... we might have to work something out.

Yeah, we had a pattern we got from one of the official Doctor Who publications that you used to be able to get by mail order (see how long ago that was?) from the Intergalactic Trading Company. My mom surprised me with one in a care package my Freshman year of college. My roommate --whom I'd never met until that fall-- was a big Tom Baker fan, and he was amazed to see me pull that sucker out of the box.

Honestly, I have to look for it, but have you seen our basement lately? Oh wait, you haven't.... Imagine an unfinished basement with a couple of vents for circulation stuffed to the gills with boxes and bookshelves and stuff, and you've got the idea.
