At around three o'clock, Melanie was pacing around the living room at Cessy's beach house, awaiting Riley's arrival so she could finally relieve her slight boredom and go do something fun.

Not that I'm particularly excited to have to reaquaint myself with my brothers again. But I'm in desperate need to an all-out shopping trip. I need new shoes. And new pairs of jeans. And a few new tops. Maybe two or three nice coats, too.

What with everyone making such a big fuss about this masquerade ball, it had better be worth it.

ooc: I was going to have her do something all creative-like and be the complete opposite of her normal self, but she wouldn't let me. Downright refused. So, Melanie will be wearing this dress and this mask. Voila!
