Why do people have to be so bloody stupid?
Honestly. I'm not even talking about intelligence, merely common sense. It could even be described as having simple social skills.
Think about this: when someone is sitting in a corner, not making noise, not talking, not looking up, not showing any sign of wanting to be spoken to at all, why would anyone think that this would be an appropriate time to attempt to become that person's new best friend?
I don't care if your friends dared you to. I don't care if you have a little firstie crush on me. I don't care if you thought I 'looked like I wanted company'. I didn't. You should have had enough brains to realize that. It's not my fault you are now walking around with your mouth glued shut and your wand sown into the back of your robes had to suffer for it.
I swear, the first years get stupider and more immature as the year goes by. Even the ones in our house. It's pathetically disgracing.
