Even though our lives have moved on, we share a bond that can't be easily severed. The news of the death of one of our community, someone I laughed with and shared RL time with, as well as loved her (sometimes hilariously shocking) fics, who gave up much of her last few years to care for her family, has saddened and upset me. Rest in Peace dear Overnighter.

What??? *shocked* What happened?
Last I heard, she recovered from successfully battling cancer and was recovering. I'm totally devastated by this news and will miss this wonderful woman. RIP. :'(

I think many of us were shocked, Kat. After all, Overnighter was well enough to participate in the Women's March Jan. 21. Looking at the pictures of her in the sunshine, smiling her glorious, so-alive smile, I thought sure she was on her way to full health.This is beyond sad.

I sometimes check here on a weekend or during a quick break mid-day. I thought she was over the hardest hurdle, but they may be longer ago than I thought.

She was truly one of a kind in all of the best ways. Generous, kind and creative for starters. My thoughts and prayers her family, extended family and friends. This makes me want to revisit her journal that's so uniquely her.
