Aw, that's great, they're going on a date to the movies. Hopefully, they'll make some headway with each other. Wonder what's in the package from Jack's parents? Will Ennis open it or convince Jack to open it?

I think I can tell it to you because it won't give any hint to the next parts of this story: Ennis won't never convince Jack to open the package. It's a part of how they still deal with things they can't stand or fix. They just accept it and they let them be.

Well, I'm glad they're going out on a date. Jack needs to get out more often, and Ennis can make sure he's safe. More importantly, it seems Jack wants Ennis to spend the night. All that talk about how cold he gets during winter, and the nightmares that only go away when Ennis is sleeping next to him. Can't wait for more!!

Hi Mel,
As usual, a lovely chapter. Thank tizi17 for the wonderful translation. I wonder whats in the box from Wyoming? maybe Ennis should open it and find out. Love Ennis reminiscing about a beautiful summer's day when he looks into Jack's eye. Yay, they are going to the movies, such a simple task and yet Ennis has never been to one until Jack. The contrast of Jack being the disabled one showing Ennis the mobile one a bit of adventure/ Great writing as usual Mel. Thanks for sharing this.

Yes, although Jack is the one who is disabled he's also the one with the ideas. He's still so very vivid but it's only Ennis who reawakes the agility and zest for life in Jack.
