I spent almost four lovely, relaxing days at the farm since I had so many consecutive days off from work. Actually it was more like nearly three relaxing days and one day of knee-bruising labour. So, good news #1: I don't actually have sinusitis - yet. The doctor gave me a cortisteroid (yay sample!) to take once per day and I have a follow-up appointment next week.

Random odd medical information: Not only do I have crazily angled inner ears and ear canals, I also have crooked nasal passages. Hence, I have lots of sinus trouble. Weird ( Read more... )

Had a pretty good day today, despite having the horrendously early breakfast shift. It was gogogo at work ALL day because of the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) Conference. CEOs and bigwigs from all the science centers across the country were at the SSC today; PLUS we had about close to 600 kids on the floor and in workshops ( Read more... )

On the upshot, it's no longer blizzarding out... only "lightly snowing".

At work on Saturday we made bath bombs for the Family Activity. They were fun and easy. I haven't tried mine because I was thinking of giving it away for Christmas but I might change my mind.
