Had a pretty good day today, despite having the horrendously early breakfast shift. It was gogogo at work ALL day because of the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) Conference. CEOs and bigwigs from all the science centers across the country were at the SSC today; PLUS we had about close to 600 kids on the floor and in workshops ( Read more... )

Wait, what? Jeff is gone? I missed something. Big.

They want your bank account number so they can verify funds. Like when you apply for in-store credit. It's not a big thing: it's on all your checks, too.

He's gone to a small town to work for the summer. Scratch worrying about him at the moment though. I spoke too soon.

Other places just ask for my bank branch, not the account number.

They are more trusting. Or less mercenary. Or both.

They asked for more references. Funny thing - the building that didn't want my account number has the same landlord as a building that DID. Go figure.

And, we'll see about that...

Your bank account number?!?! Ummmmmmm that's ridiculous. I mean I understand why, ya know to make sure you got the goods, but good grief. *hugs* good luck with the apartment hunt. And how long will Jeff be gone?

I think it's overkill.

And Jeff was supposed to be gone till the end of August... I have some thinking to do to know what I think of that.
