Sounds fairly positive on the whole. How often are you planning to do these check ins?

Umm. Good question. Probably whenever I think about them; the only reason I thought to review them today was because of the Journaleers Topic of the Month on habits. I couldn't remember if I had anything in my resolutions that involved habits. :D

Perhaps making a regular check-in time would help keep things on track.

Perhaps. I don't do well with micro-managing though, so maybe checking in once a month would be good. So, then next update on those in March. :D

I don't have ready access to a copy of The Artist's Way but 100 Words could be doable and I've never tried it before. :)
