Honestly, it was a difficult day. Too many people came. It was too loud and too crowded for me. I ended up taking a good long nap on my dad's bed.

My poor mother was wiped out by the end of the night (midnight). I actually had to ask people to leave!

aw...people mean well, but sometimes they just don't get it. I lost my mom in '86 (when I was pregnant with my first child) and my dad in '96. I can totally relate to how you are feeling. I will keep you and you family in my prayers.

Oh, I know that everyone was well-meaning. We have a great extended family and I appreciate that so much.

I'm sorry that you lost both of your parents so long ago. That has to be really hard.
