Calico!!
Hello all. Happy Holidays!
Well, I'm posting about a life change that warrants writing an online LJ entry for.
Albeit ,it's a minor change.
I've decided to grow a goatee stubble!!!! egads
I was looking at it the other day and inspecting it -- and whoa, I found two strands of gray hair! eek

What knitting brings on is
...more knitting.
When people see you knit and see your work they get interested in knitted stuff (like a nice pair of thick & warm wool socks) especially in this awful weather.

Sock Addiction
Because I love doing DIY (kilts, telescopes), I got inspired to desire to make my own kilt hose. I started to teach myself how to KNIT several weeks ago. Did the scarf thing -- I've posted about them recently. Now, I decided to give a pair of nice and warm wool sock for a dear friend's (df) birthday on Dec8. Kilts at HFH XIV
Harvest Festival Hoedown XIV (HFH) was a blast. This is my second HFH. Last year's was at Hilltop House in Harpers Ferry which was a lot of fun. This year's HFH was held in pretty Sheperdstown, WV.
CONGRATULATIONS HFH XIV Committee!!!
