Confession
On the hallway from where it would lead you to the toilet Mikee waited patiently and trying to practice how he would tell the two about her situation and to keep it a secret from Yoc-chan and Uncle J. Even she thinks it is crazy with just 1 day she forgot of what happen for the past 5 years, there are fragments she can remember and her body but that is all there is.
It was Sho who came out first and was shocked to find her on the hallway, “Mi-chan is there a problem” Mikee just noticed Sho’s presence “Nothing really I just needed to talk to you and Aiba-chan” Sho got confused and worried at the same time.
Mikee can’t help but give Sho a smile, then they both turn their heads and saw Aiba emerge from the door “Oh Mi-chan are you bullying Sho-chan again?” Mikee shake her head and smile “Am I really like that in front of Nii-chan?” Aiba giggled “sometimes” Sho still wearing a worried face look at Aiba and said “Mi-chan wanted to talk to us both” Aiba sense the seriousness and concern in Sho’s voice and look at MIkee worried.
“hmm I don’t know where to start though and as early as now I want to apologize on how I am acting errrr” Mikee take in a deep breath and continue “I have something to confess to you” the two guys keep still and watch her intently “well I woke up this morning and I can’t remember what happened in the last 5 years of my life” Sho and Aiba was about to speak but she immediately stop them “please hear me out first, this is kinda hard for me too, as you can see the way I acted when I saw you guys earlier”
“I can’t remember that I actually have worked with you in the past Ashley and Frezzy knew about this as well, I am telling you this since I feel guilty of the way I acted in front of you guys earlier and I am afraid Yoc-chan and Uncle J would end the contract immediately but I promise to work with you guys in the best way I can” Sho gave a sigh “well that explains why you never hugged me back and you address J as Masumoto-san, what happen did you have a concussion or an accident?”
“Ei, I myself don’t understand but I would try to see a doctor if I have free time” Aiba still confused says “It’s okay with us Mi-chan but are you sure you can still do this photoshoot I mean I am not in doubt with your talent I am just worried that you would over work yourself and I don’t like that” Mikee give Aiba a tight hug “I would be fine Aiba-chan as I said I still want this project to work and arigato in understanding” Aiba hug her back “fine we can help with all the best we can ne Sho-chan?” Mikee turn to look at Sho and wait for Sho’s answer “Yeah it's fine” smile at her but uneasy about the situation “Honto Arigatou nii-chan” and give sho a hug as well “but you must promise us that you are not going to exhaust yourself too much“
Teary eyed Mikee answered them “Hai! I promise” Sho’s expression softens and look at Aiba “we should probably get back to the garden” with that they start heading out Mikee felt a bit relieved and think she needed to tell 3 more people.
As per her observation of the situation the these two are the closest to her so it is easier to talk to them still thinking who she would be her next, Sho noticed her silence while they are walking he put his arm around her and asked “Mi-chan don’t think about it too much Aiba and I can back you up so cheer up” she decided to ask who would be a good target to tell it next.
“Nii-chan whom do you think I would tell it next, hmm beside you two I am not sure how close I am with those three” Aiba smiled widely and say “what about start with Nino then Oh-chan and then J” MIkee’s not sure about Aiba’s suggestion and look up at Sho ”should I go for Nino first?” Sho smiled and says “Nino would be upset but I guess we can’t help it, are you okay with it? I mean we can tell them later you know”
“ei, its fine I would want to apologize to them properly too, you know with being rude and acting strangely specially with MJ” Sho thinks for a bit then says “okay we would help you get to talk to them then and It would be best to start with Oh-chan instead of Nino” MIkee think and then “hai Oh-chan is next then “ Aiba is now giggling and so she looked up at Aiba “Gomen Mi-chan can I be with you when you tell them I just wanted to see their reaction when you tell them you forgot about them”
Then Sho also giggled with Aiba “I guess we need to accompany Imoto to back her up just in case” Mikee arch her brow and look at the 2 guys “I would ask your help when it comes to MJ but I guess I can handle Oh-chan and Kazu” Aiba can’t hide his disappointment “Mi-chan come on I just wanted to know their reaction”
Mikee was about to answer but they are already at the table where the others are busy talking to new acquaintances. Mikee eyed Aiba while settling beside Jun, she settled beside Johnny who is also busy talking to Hokou. Ashley get her attention and ask “so did you tell them?” Mikee just give a nod and don’t want to explain it further on the table.
While Sho is talking to Ohno he is whispering something that Mikee can hardly hear. Then Ohno stand-up to excuse himself, Mikee watch which direction Ohno is going then she also excuse herself. She followed Ohno to the veranda where they are dining earlier.
Ohno is looking for something but can’t seem to find it, then she ask “Oh-chan are you looking for something?” the man was surprise with her voice but still calm “I didn’t know you were there, I am looking for my pack of Cigarette I guess it fell somewhere here” “I see we can ask the waiters who cleaned up the place if they saw it”
Ohno smiled and say “it’s okay I can ask from Nino” Mikee don’t know how to start the conversation again she tried to open her mouth but nothing comes out, Ohno can feel that she wanted to say something so he stated “You’ve been acting strange since our dinner, is there something wrong Mi-chan?”
She take a lungful of air before speaking “actually there is, and I feel guilty about my action earlier, so I wanted to say sorry” Ohno looked at her intently then “you are not telling the truth your eyes are saying different” Mikee resigned “Gomen Oh-chan I can’t explain it either but when I woke up this morning I can’t remember the last 5 years of my life and that includes working with you”
Ohno looked at her intently “that explain why you didn’t greeted me and even called in MJ as Masumoto-san” she can feel the disappointment on his voice “yes, and I am sorry I don’t intend to I don’t know what happen I just woke up and was confused of what I would need to do” Mikee feeling exhausted and can feel her knees weak sit on one of the seat on the dining table they are in.
Ohno cross the distance between them and gently pull her chin up “it’s okay Mi-chan, I know you can get those memories back” Mikee saw the perfect smile on Ohno’s face “Do you really believe I can still recover those memories Oh-chan, I don’t want to lose any of it” Ohno give her a nod and say “yes, but if not then we can just make new set of memories together”
That is when Aiba open the door, and they both look at Aiba’s direction and they saw the playful smile on his face “Riida, you are really good you know it’s like I am watching one of your drama” and he is actually accompanied by Sho who is smiling apologetically to Mikee “Gomen Mi-chan I also got curious on Riida’s reaction”
Mikee can’t help but smile and Ohno smiling sheepishly while shaking his head “So you guys know about this already huh” Sho answered him “yeah we just found out a few minutes ago, and we decided we would help her out with this here sorry I actually have your pack” Aiba still grinning “we are also curious of what your reaction would be but it turn out you noticed about it too”
“What about MJ and Kazu do they know?” they all look at Mikee’s direction “not yet but I would tell them, Oh-chan can this be kept from Uncle J and Yuc-chan?” Ohno nod “Yeah sure, wonder if how MJ would take this” and he gave a worried look at Mikee and then turn to Sho.
Sho nod then turn to Mikee “let’s just leave it for tonight I guess and well you can find time to be together with the other 2 tomorrow” Aiba answered “Agreed and I need more beer so shall we head back to our table” While on their way back Sho whisper something to Ohno, while Aiba is walking alongside Mikee “Ne Aiba-chan what do you suppose Nii-chan is telling Oh-chan?” Aiba put his arm around Mikee’s shoulder sigh then “not sure this is the right time for you to know it, but in time” Puzzled with the riddle Aiba gave her she turn her gaze to Sho and Ohno’s worried face.
“Nii-chan I am fine and I already schedule a doctor’s appointment I won’t miss it promise” Sho offer his hand to her and she grab it “for now it would be safe if you stick with Nii-chan while we are on set or working I am not sure if you would be able to ask J and Nino tonight so you can tell them in the next couple of days” Aiba raised his hand “Don’t forget about me, I can also back you up”
Ohno also grab MIkee’s other hand give her a gentle press “I would always by your side and you know that” and was about to kiss her hand but Sho grab her from her shoulder, she laugh about the gesture Sho made, while in the corner of her eye she can see Aiba dodge since Ohno is trying to give him punch.
They went back to the party,she is overwhelm of care and situation and not to mention what she is seeing in the party. People whom she cared, loved and treasure are all in one place happily talking to each other and not to mention her Idol whom she never expect to meet nor work with.
