Luau
The three ladies get back to the dining hall to rejoin the group, as expected TJ and Hokou is already at the hall and waiting for them “Ladies, shall we proceed to the garden?” Hokou is looking intently at Mikee.
Ashley and Frezzy nod and Mikee sigh and answered “I guess, since you are leaving us with no choice” TJ offer his arm to Mikee grinning “Yes, you don’t have a choice and we promised this is just a small gathering just few people who missed you dearly” Mikee arch her brow “really now Terrence? Because if my memory serves me right we don’t have the same definition of the word few”
TJ just laugh then Hokou get to Mikee’s side and say “Alii, not to worry we just have a few people promise” with that Mikee look at Johnny apologetically and say “Sorry about this Uncle J” Johnny smile and reply “Daijobu MI-chan I’ve heard from Hokou there are just a few people and some of them are also people whom I am acquainted with” “hontoni?” “hai so lead the way”
So they pass through the door leading to the terrace of the dining hall reserved for them then through a staircase leading them to the back side of the restaurant where a garden is located overlooking the beautiful sea of Maui.
When they reach the Garden people are already waiting for their arrival and gathered to one side of the Garden. There are tables and chairs spread out all over the place. Mikee was over whelmed because there were a number of people whom she knew, waiting to welcome her with a smile and tight hug.
She looked at TJ and pinch his side and sarcastically say“SMALL huh”, then one by one People started towards their direction putting Lei on their necks, but Mikee was already occupied by tight hugs and kisses from the people she knew too well it continues for a few moment more, when she was done greeting each and every one on the party she was ushered in front of the crowd by Hokou and ask her to give a brief speech.
“Whoah, I am actually not prepared for this hmmm I would like to start with I’m home” the crowd answered “Hale Hookipa Ana” then Mikee looked at the table where her Friends and clients are seated, “I am sorry guys these was a surprise to me as well, please meet my Ohana here in Maui and hope you enjoy this Luau party this is how they welcome their visitors and in my case their long lost daughter ne Daddy?” Mikee playfully wink at Hokuo’s direction “and to the people whom I missed so much thank you for being here and sorry I wasn’t able to visit you in Oahu since my destination is here in Maui, I really appreciate your effort and love you guys all, the night is young and let this party started shall we?”
The people give her a round of applause then Mikee is trying to reach the table where her client was when she was pulled by the man who is seating 2 tables away from where she is supposed to go “Mi-chan it’s been a while” the man offer Mikee a hug and kiss she answered “Yes Keoki-kun it’s been a while” “sharp memory I thought you have forgotten me” “I would have forget the world but not a great composer like you, sorry I will talk to you later I just need to go to my client for now and may I may actually need your help while I am here” “well you know how to reach me, ask all the favor you can and I would gladly do it if it is possible” “I will keep that in mind, and thanks for the mp3's you are sending me i loved them, enjoy the party”
Then Mikee finally was able to reach the table and get to Johnny and Yoshihiko’s side at the same time she was asked by Ohno and Nino in Unison “What do you mean by Ohana?” Mikee smiled and say “it means Family” Ashley smiled “M here actually has a lot of foster parent not legally but more of older friends who would treat her as their own daughter, so don’t be surprise if we would be on a different country and she knows someone in that place”
Then Frezzy continue “Yeah like my parents, they liked her so much that they even ask her to live with us when we are still attending college, she had her own room at my parents’ house and not to mention she also have her own room at Aya’s parents house and Stephanie’s parents house, so we need to schedule who would take her home for weekends”
Mikee can feel her chick warming and its travelling through her ears and she knew that she looks a lot like a riped tomato “I guess you guys have enough information for today” then grab a drink from the table while Jun, Nino and Ohno are all looking at her intently with an amused smile on their faces.
Aiba and Sho were also amused with the new information they just heard about their Photographer. Ever since Mikee started with this field she would see to it that their client would only be able to know her professionally and making sure to keep her personal life private, with that she is often referred as mysterious since no none of them can gather data about her persinal life.
Johnny is amused and can’t help himself commenting “So we are lucky enough to know this side of you since we are the very first client who is able to see a glimpse of your personal life” Mikee blushed even more then Yoshihiko continues “Yes and we would be able to earn a fortune if we would go to one of the publishing company and provide these information since all of them are dying to know her personal life” Mikee look at Yoshihiko with narrowed eyes “well don’t make me regret the fact I suggested this place for your upcoming concert Yoc-chan, and if you do so that would be the end of our contract and you would be liable for it since I can sue you for breaching the contract you have signed few months back”
Yoshihiko was taken a back of what Mikee just said, while Johnny and Sho laugh so hard “Inohara-kun Mi-chan is not going to be a scholar in KEIO for nothing” Sho continues “to actually say that as a joke looking at your face senpai its pricessless”
“Mi-chan I am just kidding come on” Mikee arch her brows at Yoshihiko “better be a joke or else you would regret you actually knew me at all” then face the other 2 girls “and enough about me please, they already knew too much and can we not talk about this? what happens in Hawaii stays in Hawaii can we agree on to that?” Frezzy and Ashley looked at her and they can feel the panic and seriousness on her statement.
All of them answer her with “hai hai” with that Mikee let out a giggle “sorry your voices chimes as if you are in a-” but got interrupted when a girl hug her from behind and give her a kiss “Is that how you react when you see your colleague for this project?” Mikee let out a laugh while standing and facing the new girl “Senpai don’t surprise me like that, or else I would be a statue for the rest of my life” “oh that would be good so I can actually keep you on one place forever so I can get to you whenever I wanted too” Mikee still smiling while shaking her head.
“Guys this is Stephanie my senpai in Keio she would be assisting me with this project and she's the one who is in charge of the photo editing” Mikee introduce the new Girl “Hajimemashite, with Mikee as photographer photo editing is actually unnecessary” then everyone on the table actually
greeted Steph, while they are busy greeting Ashley and Frezzy give signal to Mikee to follow Sho and Aiba since the two actually excuse themselves to look for a toilet, Mikee understanding the signal her friends gave her, excuse herself to immediately follow the two.
