Today I had a couple brilliant moments where

1) I realized, oh, sitcom is an abbreviation of situational comedy ha ha ha. How on earth did that escape me for so long, especially when romcom is shorthand I've personally used for romantic comedy

I think it's one of those words now so ingrained in our vocab that we don't think about its origins until suddenly it's like so obvious.

niall/other people is hard to come by b/c bb is the least loved of 1d fandom-wise so good fic with him is difficult to find just in general :( i did read this niall-centric genfic which was pretty good though!

one direction!!! i'm slowly sinking into that fandom, but i'm trying to avoid the tinhatting tweens who haven't learned about things like boundaries and fourth walls.

I apparently no longer know how to interact with people in fandom and only lurk to read fics or look at pretty pictures, haha. The batshit can be strong with this fandom and Teen Wolf, too. It's better to avoid it when possible, absolutely.
