Edward also showed off his abs, but RPatz was a skinny pale undead thing in comparison. Irl, maybe he's okay, but as Edward it was abysmal. (He didn't even walk into the sun, so no sparkling!abs of lulz. WOE.)

BUT THE EDWARD/JACOB-- Sobbing, it is hard to write good fic for a canon that, uh, is not so awesome. So I'm pretty impressed with the fics who've managed to pull it off. :3

Shockingly, there is not that much Edward/Jacob? I guess the majority is all Edward/Bella or Jacob/Bella. Or Edward/self-insert and Jacob/self-insert.

True fact: Eunhyuk's hair during SSII > his hair during SSI. But I think pretty much everything about SSII was better. XD There is definite bias here. (CANNOT WAIT FOR DVD AHHH.)

it makes me sad that the last two movies i have gone to see (also ninja assassin and new moon) were only entertaining because of the abs. and also the badness.

ahaha, yes, that exactly describes my experience with these two movies. A little depressing, but I am shallow enough to be distracted by the abs.

ahahahaha OH FUSHIGI YUUGI. The pinnacle of long-distance name-calling true love. Re: Twilight, I have not yet braved what I am sure is oceans of Jacob/Bella fic, but I have to say that well-written Bella is a hard thing to find. (Then again, with how SMeyer wrote her...)

we went to see new moon after having several drinks and my birthday dinner. sadly it was the midnight showing and the alcohol had worn off by the time we made it through the line. the people around us kept giving us these dirty looks because we all sporfled every time edward came on screen.

i so did not have enough alcohol in me for that.

it's sad the originals are so bad that they're a turnoff to most people who could actually write them decently. i just console mysef with the tvxq version my roommate wrote. XD

There was a couple in front of us with an eight-year-old boy, and we thought there was no way they could be there to watch it seriously (especially a week after it was out) - then the husband turns around while we're giggling at the ridiculousness of everything and goes, "Do you mind?"

The movie would have definitely been improved with alcohol! And also true: good writers don't really venture into the fandom because canon is so D: inducing. Alas... or not. But Twilight parodies are always awesome. :D
