I haven't finished the book yet (just got it), but this is a useful guide to new fanfic (esp. for people like me, who have exited hp fandom)

I am just no end of amused that there's already next gen fic. And an evil part of me thinks Rowling has no idea what she's done and will probably be appalled. But seriously! It's ficcing carte blanc.

I am reading this quite shiny post-DH H/D WIP right now. (God the acronyms!) It's called "Harry Potter and the Origami Soul" and you can find the chapters on ms_semicolon's journal. It's..shockingly good for something she writes so quickly.

And I'm dying to see what Maya will do with DH. ::holds breath::

I've got H/D for the rivalshipping; I kind of want some best-friend-turned-lover for AS/S. I think it's cute.

LOL. Well, they don't do much in the book in way of interaction, so it's probably unnecessary to read DH to ship them.

But I would still recommend reading it 'cause I personally liked it. :D

I will, one of these days. I'm just waiting for all my friends to finish it and borrow each other's copies so I can get in line and borrow my own. (Because I don't want to get my own copy, since I only have book 3 and 4 in my possession, and I really don't want a hardbound one next to the paperbacks erm.)

So far, I'm enjoying the fics. XD OH PLEASE LET THEM BE FRIENDS! IT WOULD BE SO CUTE! And then they can go through the trouble of Omg, our fathers are such great turds.
